10 Weeks!

Yet another week has gone by.  It's weird how time can go by so slowly and so quickly all at the same time.  It seems like we just keep counting weeks off, but yet when we are waiting for something (to hear the heartbeat), the days just crawl by.  As many of you know, I have been having a rough time with morning (more like all day) sickness.  For some reason, I got the feeling this morning that I'm finally on the home stretch.  Hopefully these next 2 weeks will be the last of it.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed!



                                          
I found out some very interesting, however conflicting, information today.  In talking with my boss, she told me that in the 9 years that she has been there, every employee baby that has been born within my department has been a boy.  I was also talking to my mom today, and she said that of all my cousins (and I have a lot of them), almost everyone with kids has had a girl first.  Soooooo, I guess we will be trend breakers either way!  I am starting to get really impatient to find out whether we are having a boy or a girl.  I was looking online at those "pee-in-a-cup and find out if you are having a boy or girl" tests.  The ones that say they are (brace yourself for this) 90% effective!  Haha, it's really funny to read the reviews for them.  Basically, anybody that took it and it was correct swears by them.  On the other hand (probably the other 50%  ;)  ) that took it and it was wrong, curses them saying they are a waste of money.  In conclusion, let's just say I'm going to save my $30 and wait for the ultrasound to tell me, as hard as it will be to wait another 8-10 weeks for that. :(
